This is the terrifying moment an out-of-control dump truck smashes into cars at a roundabout, leaving three people injured.

The incident took place in Ovidiu, Romania, near Constanta, on the Black Sea coast, on Monday morning, March 3.

CCTV footage shows several cars waiting at the intersection when the truck appears, charging down the road.

It swerves into the crash barrier to avoid hitting the vehicles before entering the junction and smashing into at least two cars.

Local media reported that three individuals—two adults and a four-year-old girl—were injured and taken to the hospital. Their injuries are said to be minor.

The dump truck driver told the police that his brakes had failed.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
