Lemonade effortlessly makes coins sparkle after only two days
Most cleaning involves a lot of effort - but lemonade has the surprising power to clean and restore coins as if by magic.
In an experiment filmed over 2 days - a bunch of old and grotty looking UK coins were placed into a small bowl of lemonade and left undisturbed in a sink to see what would happen.
Remarkably after only 12 hours most of the grime on the coins had disappeared - making them sparkle like new with a brilliant shine.
After 44 hours they looked even better, with the dirt that had been on the coins seen floating on the surface of the water.
