The convocation was organized by Maharishi Valmiki Sanskrit University of Kaithal in the auditorium of RKSD College today. In this, students reached indigenous costumes. The chief guest at the program reached the Governor of Haryana and the Chancellor of the University, Bandaru Dattatreya. Bandaru Dattatreya, Governor of Haryana and Chancellor of the University, said in his address that Sanskrit is Devbhasha. He said that Sanskrit is a language that gives peace to the mind. He said that even after being independent, our country could not take Devbhasha everywhere. He said that now students are taking degrees to complete this work. Bandaru Dattatreya, the Governor and the Chancellor of the University, said that the original Sanskrit of all Indian languages is Sanskrit. First learn the mother tongue. There is a provision to teach mother tongue in the new education policy. In this, students will be able to do degrees. He said that Sanskrit is being read for 100 years in countries like China. He said that Mata ji had worked hard to give me higher education due to which I am giving degrees as Governors today. He said that today knowledge is more important, not wealth. His Excellency the Governor released several books on the occasion of the history of Kaithal, Saraswati River, Kurukshetra Mahabharata and India's culture.Speaking on the stage, Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Valmiki Sanskrit University, Professor Ramesh Chandra Bhardwaj said that in this first convocation, 527 students have been given graduate and postgraduate degrees in various subjects with the blessings of the Hon'ble Governor and 38 students are being awarded gold medals. He said that the first convocation of the university today is being given by the degrees by putting gowns to promote the culture of their Haryana and the country, but the students wearing kurta pajamas and saris are being given degrees. University Vice Chancellor Ramesh Chandra Bhardwaj said that this is the first convocation from the university. Ever since the university was formed, there was an effort to convince the convocation. The Governor was invited for this.
Young students were called in the program wearing dhoti-kurta or kurta-pajama, while the female students received a degree wearing a sari. In these costumes, degrees were distributed to students. According to the tradition of the old British era, the students who received degrees were not worn by the students. The students wore traditional dress sarees.
Maharishi Valmiki Sanskrit University Registrar Dr. SK Goel and students who received degrees said that the Vice Chancellor has taken a good step by starting the tradition of Indian origin at the convocation.
In the program, Saraswat Guest Shri Somnath Sanskrit University Vice Chancellor of Gujarat, Prof. Sukant Kumar was the commander. In addition special guest
