The extreme weather severely reduced visibility for motorists, causing significant disruptions across the region.

Footage captured by Natalie Tysdal shows a severe squall engulfing the area on March 19.

The filmer said: 'The heavy snow and high winds from Marisol are making travel difficult, and flights are expected to be grounded as the storm continues.'

Marisol brought widespread high winds that contributed to blowing dust and an elevated wildfire risk in certain areas. The storm's dynamic nature also led to severe thunderstorms in parts of the Midwest, South, and East. ​
