Lalit Patidar, an 18-year-old from Madhya Pradesh, has entered the Guinness World Records for having the hairiest face on a male, with 201.72 hairs per square centimetre.

Over 95 per cent of his face is covered in hair, which makes him one of only 50 documented cases of hypertrichosis, also known as “werewolf syndrome,” since the Middle Ages.

While his condition makes him truly one in a billion, Lalit has faced his fair share of challenges since childhood. When he first started school, other children were scared of him, but that changed once they got to know him.

Lalit has refused to let society’s perceptions define him. He embraces his uniqueness and even runs a YouTube channel to take people along in everyday life.
