On March 30, in Changzhou, Jiangsu, two stray dogs bravely risked their own safety to rescue an injured pet dog from heavy traffic.

Surveillance footage shows that the pet dog was hit by a passing vehicle while crossing the road and collapsed in the middle of the street, unable to move. With cars continuously passing by, it was in imminent danger of being run over again.

At that moment, two stray dogs, often seen in the area, noticed the injured pet. Without hesitation, they rushed into traffic and worked together to drag the injured dog to the side of the road. Despite the ongoing danger from surrounding vehicles, the strays demonstrated remarkable courage and intelligence.

The pet’s owner, Mr. Xue, later discovered what had happened and immediately took the dog to a veterinarian. After an examination, the vet confirmed that the pet had only suffered minor external injuries with no fractures but would need some time to recover.

Mr. Xue expressed deep gratitude for the two stray dogs, believing their actions showed a strong bond between animals. He also revealed that his pet dog was once a stray itself before he adopted it six months ago. Seeing the two heroic strays frequently roaming the area, he now plans to try adopting them as well, giving them a warm and loving home.
