A furious tourist was seen having a heated argument with a beach vendor over the price of renting a jet ski.

The disgruntled holidaymaker booked the machine for an hour to float off the coast of Pattaya Beach in Chonburi, Thailand.

However, witnesses claimed he became bored quickly and returned to shore after using it for only 30 minutes.

When it was time to pay, the tourist insisted he had only used the jet ski for half an hour and demanded a reduced price.

Footage shows the elderly visitor yelling at the local who was demanding he paid for the full hour.

He said: 'If I go there 30 minutes, you charge me one hour. Why?'

The local's voice was softer than the tourist's and told him he would just call the police.

The tourist answered: 'No, the police know me. Call the police here. You call the police to come here.'

British onlooker Lee Martin Jones said: 'The tourist rented the jet ski for one hour, became bored after 30 minutes and then brought it back.

'He refused to pay for full hour and paid only for 30 minutes.'
