Pristina - April 02, 2025 Kosovo's president welcomes UK foreign Secretary in Pristina -PRISTINA, KOSOVO - APRIL 2, 2025: Kosovo's President Vjosa Osmani welcomed UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy in Pristina on Wednesday, April 2. The duo held a press conference following the talks. Osmani said she proposed an agreement aimed at deepening strategic cooperation between Kosovo and the UK, particularly in the fields of defense and economy. "We want a lasting, peaceful normalization for you here in Kosovo, between Kosovo and of course, Serbia," Lammy said. "The UK is undoubtedly a significant contributor to KFOR. I saw KFOR last time I was here. I will see them again, and it's crucial. It is absolutely crucial for your security. And I hope that the next government will address all citizen's needs, including by making progress to integrate Kosovan Serbs and engage vigorously in the EU-led dialogue," Lammy added.
