US, Los Angeles: Ventura Suspicious Death Investigation With Sound On Tape Part 2
Los Angeles, United States - April 02, 2025 04/02/2025 07:00 pm (GMT-0700) VENTURA, Calif. – LAPD Chief of Detectives Alan Hamilton provided updates Wednesday evening on a death investigation in an unincorporated area of Ventura County. Officers believe they have discovered the body of a missing juvenile who was reportedly last seen in the Foothill Division of Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department, the FBI, and the Ventura County Sheriff's Department are on the scene conducting an investigation. Officers are expected to work through the night to outline the next steps of the investigation. The Ventura County Coroner's Office is en route to identify the victim. In the coming days, officers will continue their investigation by attempting to retrace the juvenile's steps to determine how the victim ended up at this location.
