Los Angeles, United States - April 25, 2025 04/25/2025 04:42 am (GMT-0700) POMONA, Calif. – Pomona police officers and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a report of a gunshot victim at the Paula Motel in the 900 block of East Holt Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters and paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear. The Pomona Police Department will lead the investigation into the fatal incident. It is currently unknown if any suspects are in custody. PER POMONA PD PRESS RELEASE: On April 25, 2025 at approximately 4:38 AM, Patrol Officers responded to a call for service of a victim of a shooting in the 900 block of E. Holt Ave. Upon arrival, officers located the victim and discovered he was unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by LA County Fire personnel. Due to the circumstances of the incident, Homicide Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began an extensive investigation.
