On April 26, the City of Easley, South Carolina, came together to celebrate a true miracle—Rhody Tabor’s return home.

Earlier this year, Rhody was diagnosed with an extremely rare "one in a million" tumor that started in his liver and traveled through his blood vessels to his heart. His survival, as shared by the Easley Police Department, is “nothing short of miraculous.”

In a Facebook post, the department described the touching scene: "Today our hearts are full of joy and gratitude!" Police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances lined the street with flashing lights, colorful posters, and smiling faces as they honored Rhody’s incredible journey. He was also surprised with a few special gifts, including a Bluey bubble machine that brought a huge smile to his face.

"We are so thankful to join the Easley Fire Department and Pickens County EMS to make this day so special for Rhody and for reminding us all of the power of community, hope, and healing," the Easley Police Department wrote.
