On May 4, 2025, the streets of Old Town Alexandria filled with purpose and patriotism as the Carry The Load team and local community members came together to honor the nation’s heroes. The event began at the historic Alexandria National Cemetery, setting the tone for a day of remembrance, unity, and gratitude.

Participants walked shoulder to shoulder through the heart of Old Town, carrying flags and wearing the names of fallen military service members, veterans, and first responders. The symbolic journey served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those who protect our country and communities.
