US, Phoenix: Phoenix Interstate 10 Mini Stack Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Phoenix, United States - May 05, 2025 05/05/2025 01:25 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) troopers and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a motorcycle down on the eastbound I-10 near the Red Mountain 202/SR-51 Mini-Stack. Troopers arrived to find an unresponsive rider in the gore point between the eastbound mainline I-10 and the eastbound I-10 to eastbound Red Mountain 202 transition ramp. Phoenix Fire arrived a short time later and pronounced the rider deceased at the scene. The involved motorcycle was located on the HOV transition ramp approximately 250 feet from the rider's body. ADOT established left lane restrictions leading up to the scene and a hard closure for the eastbound 10 to eastbound Red Mountain Loop 202 transition ramp while DPS investigated the collision.
