Phoenix, United States - June 19, 2025 06/19/2025 02:30 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a two-vehicle traffic collision with trapped occupants on 67th Avenue near Osborn Road. Crews arrived to find a collision involving a sedan and an SUV. Two occupants from the sedan required extensive mechanical extrication. One occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene while the other was transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition. Phoenix Police Vehicular Crimes Unit detectives responded and assumed command of the investigation. The collision resulted in a hard closure for 67th Avenue, spanning approximately two blocks south of Osborn Road. The closure was expected to remain in place for several hours.
