US, Los Angeles: West Carson Fatal Vehicle VS Pedestrian
Los Angeles, United States - May 16, 2025 05/15/2025 09:43 pm GMT-0700 WEST CARSON, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol and other agencies responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash at the intersection of 228th Street and Normandie Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a female pedestrian lying in the road. Although she was breathing, she was not conscious. She was later pronounced dead at the scene. CHP closed the area off as officers conducted their investigation. The coroner was requested to the location. It is unclear whether the driver remained at the scene. No further details have been provided.
