This is the moment a woman rescued a pink chick from a busy road.

Axelle Galvez, 30, was on her way to a nearby laundromat in Bali when she saw a motorbike rider kick a baby chicken that was wandering in the road.

Without hesitation, Axelle stopped and picked up the little bird.

Axelle, who lives in Bali, said: ""Now it's doing fine and we've become best friends."

"Apparently, people dye chicks to sell them to children."

"I assumed it escaped and somehow ended up in the middle of the road."

In the video, Axelle can be heard saying: "What's the probability of this happening to me! "

"I took it but I am not sure what to do with it. "

"It cries when I put it down. "

"I can't release it into the wild."
