LVIV, UKRAINE - MAY 22, 2025: The Ministerial Summit on Social Policy was held in Ukraine's Lviv on Thursday, May 22, under the theme “Building Resilient Societies: Innovative Solutions to Demographic Change.” The summit brought together more than 20 high-level representatives, including ministers from European Union member states, European Commission officials, international organizations, leading experts, and politicians. The event also highlighted the European integration perspectives of Ukraine and Moldova, underscoring the international community’s support for both countries as they implement necessary social reforms. Lithuanian Minister of Social Security Inga Ruginiene, Ukrainian Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovych, OECD Deputy Director for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs Mark Pearson, Finnish Minister of Social Affairs and Health Kaisa Juuso, Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Marian Jurečka, Swedish Minister for Elderly and Social Security Anna Tenje, Swedish Minister for Social Services Camilla Waltersson Grönvall, and Dutch Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Social Affairs and Employment Eddy van Hijum attended the summit.
