Elephant helps 'drowning' owner from water
This is the heartwarming moment an elephant helped its 'drowning' owner from the water.
The manhout teased the juvenile pachyderm by pretending to struggle in a pond in Surin Province, Thailand.
Footage shows the man splashing in the shallow water, acting as if he were in distress, on March 4.
Upon seeing this, the jumbo ambled toward the bank and stood near the edge before extending its trunk toward the man.
The owner then gripped the snout, and the animal pulled him out of the water to safety.
The elephant continued to assist by wrapping its trunk around the handler's arm and gently placing him on the ground.
Elephants are known to form deep bonds with their handlers and often display protective and empathetic behavior toward them. These intelligent animals are capable of recognizing distress signals and responding to human needs.
