US, Los Angeles: Sylmar Several Parked Cars Damaged After Crash

Los Angeles, United States - May 26, 2025 05/25/2025 11:40 pm GMT-0700 SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene of a car crash on the 14600 block of Polk Street. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a two-car collision involving an orange Chevrolet Camaro and a silver Ford SUV. The impact sent the Ford careening through a light pole and into a chain-link fence in a nearby front yard. Meanwhile, the Camaro struck several parked vehicles along Polk Street. The driver of the Ford, a woman, was transported to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. The man driving the Camaro was evaluated at the scene by medical personnel. It remains unclear if alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash; however, a case of Budweiser was found spilled near the site of the incident. Witnesses noted that the Camaro appeared to be traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
