US, Los Angeles: Sylmar San Fernando PD Officer-Involved Head-On Pursuit Crash
Los Angeles, United States - November 26, 2025 11/26/2025 12:27 am GMT-0800 SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A traffic collision occurred Wednesday morning in Sylmar involving a San Fernando police officer and an uninvolved motorist. At approximately 12:27 a.m., officers were engaged in a pursuit when one of them collided head-on with a pickup truck just east of the intersection of Glenoaks Boulevard and Polk Street. Both the officer and the driver of the pickup were evaluated by the Los Angeles Fire Department at the scene and reported no injuries. The status of the vehicle that San Fernando police were initially pursuing remains unknown.
