Bnei Brak, Israel - May 25, 2025 On May 25, 2025, police received a report of two suspects on Abarbanel Street in Bnei Brak. During the search, members of the motorcycle unit spotted a suspect hiding near a bus stop. Upon investigation, he fled but was arrested on Bar Kochba Street. The suspect, 42 years old and a resident of the village of Haris, entered Israel illegally and was in possession of two forged identity cards: an Israeli biometric identity card and an employee card of an Israeli company, which he purchased for NIS 1,200 with the intention of working in Israel. An indictment was filed against him on charges including illegal residency, use of forged documents, and identity theft.
