A horse bolted in Central Park, injuring a cyclist and several pedestrians.

Onlookers said the steed panicked when horse-drawn carriages collided near the 60th Street and East Drive marker in New York City on Monday, May 26.

Footage captured the aftermath, with several tourist carts and horses standing by near the scene.

The filmer said the equines ran away after the crash, striking passersby and a biker.

Local media reported that both operators sustained minor injuries while trying to regain control of the animals and were taken to hospital.

The creatures were unharmed and returned to work later that evening.
