The cat persistently pawed at the officer’s leg, seemingly asking for attention. The officer remained patient, continuing to monitor traffic while discreetly feeding the cat pieces of sausage behind his back. The amusing scene was captured by a passing citizen.

Ms. Liu, who filmed the video, said she stumbled upon the moment while out for a walk and was amused by the officer’s secret “slacking off” during work hours to feed the cat. It’s believed the cat is a stray that became attached to the officer after he fed it once during a previous shift on that road.
