On May 31st in Taiyuan, Shanxi, the 2025 China Dragon Boat Open successfully concluded, with the Endeavor Team from Taiyuan University of Science and Technology winning first place in the public division overall.

At the award ceremony, two team members chose to make a unique entrance—they jumped onto the podium together. However, due to the possibly slippery surface of the stage, both of them accidentally lost their footing and fell flat on their backs in perfect sync. This unexpected moment instantly became the centre of attention and had the audience bursting into laughter.

Regarding the mishap, the host joked, “Well, that was quite the spectacular entrance.”

Han, one of the team members involved, said they had planned a cool and stylish entrance, but unexpectedly became the focus in a completely different way, calling the moment both awkward and hilarious.
