Lamb strays from herd after falling into deep sleep - farmer has to wake it up
On June 8, in Xilin Gol, Inner Mongolia, a herder recorded an interesting scene of his lamb falling behind because of deep sleep.
The large group of sheep was grazing and gradually moving away, but a lamb fell asleep on the ground in the gap between the sheep grazing.
When the owner found that the lamb had fallen behind, he forced it to wake up. Only then did the lamb realise that it had been left behind by the large group and hurriedly ran to the distant flock.
Sheep are gregarious animals and they like to live in groups. In a group, the sheep will rely on each other, protect each other, and maintain the stability and order of the group through social behaviour, which also helps to improve the sheep's sense of security and reduce the threat of predators.
