Nablus - June 10, 2025 Security forces began an overnight operation in the Kasbah of Nablus aimed at disrupting hostile activity. During the mission, two armed individuals were killed in an exchange with Duvdevan fighters. IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police units launched the coordinated effort as part of ongoing security operations in the Samaria Brigade. So far, over 250 structures have been searched, six individuals wanted for questioning have been detained, and an improvised 'Carlo' weapon along with additional military equipment has been located and confiscated. During the identification and questioning of suspects, two individuals attempted to seize a weapon from one of the soldiers. As a result, several shots were fired, leading to moderate injuries to one IDF soldier and minor injuries to three others. The soldiers responded with gunfire and neutralized both attackers. All injured personnel were evacuated to hospitals, and their families have been notified. In a parallel operation in Tulkarm under the Ephraim Brigade, IDF forces discovered and dismantled a hidden cache of improvised explosive devices reportedly intended for use against military personnel. Two additional individuals were detained, and another improvised 'Carlo' weapon was seized. Since the beginning of the week, under the framework of the ‘Iron Wall’ operation in the Menashe Brigade area, four individuals have been arrested based on Shin Bet intelligence, four weapons confiscated, two explosive devices neutralized, and over 100,000 shekels suspected to be connected to unlawful activity have been seized.
