US, Bakersfield: Los Angeles ICE Protest Day 6 Crowd Gets Boxed In By LAPD Part 1
Bakersfield, United States - June 12, 2025 06/11/2025 10:00 pm GMT-0700 LOS ANGELES, Calif. – For the sixth consecutive day, crowds gathered in the Los Angeles area to protest recent ICE raids. The group departed from downtown around 8 p.m., marching west along Wilshire Boulevard. As they reached the intersection of Wilshire and Western, the protesters turned north on Western and continued their march toward Beverly Boulevard. The Los Angeles Police Department deployed officers strategically in the vicinity of First Street and Western Avenue. When the group of approximately 200 protesters arrived, police moved in to contain the crowd from all sides. An additional dispersal order was issued, warning that anyone who failed to leave would be taken into custody.
