Lizette Eclarino had been employed in Japan for half a decade before returning home to Zambales, the Philippines, on February 4.

She helped the elderly motorist Boying with the fare and quietly approached him at a stopover.

At first, Boying did not recognise her, but when he finally did, he broke down in tears upon realising who she was.

Lizette said: ‘I used to only see moments like this on TV. But it felt completely different when it actually happened to me.'
