This is the heartwarming moment a hedgehog with its head stuck in a toy barrel was rescued in China.
Xinfadi Maodong and his child were strolling through a park in Anhui when they spotted the spiny mammal struggling to remove a cylindrical container from its head.
Footage shows the kindhearted man approaching the seemingly confused creature and gently pulling off the mini barrel on June 5.
After a few careful tugs, he managed to free the hedgehog's head from the toy.
The animal then walked away after being rescued.
