This is the amusing moment a gym buddy French Bulldog helped its owner do sit-ups.

Footage shows Mochi, the one-year-old canine, holding the woman's feet down while she exercises in Bangkok, Thailand.

The keeper can be seen lying on her back with her knees bent, performing steady sit-ups by lifting her upper body toward her knees and lowering it back down on February 23.

Meanwhile, the pooch, wearing a red polka dot pillow collar, sits patiently in front of her, gently placing his paws on her feet to keep them anchored during the routine.

The pet owner said: 'I wanted to do some sit-ups as part of my workout routine, but since I was alone and there was no one around to assist me, I came up with the idea to train Mochi to make his paw rest on my feet.'

French Bulldogs are known for their affectionate nature and eagerness to please, making them relatively easy to train despite their sometimes-stubborn streak.
