Germany posed for team photographs and undertook their first training session in Switzerland on Tuesday head of Euro 2025.

A new-look Germany under head coach Chrisitian Wuck begin their campaign on Friday with their Group C opener against tournament debutants Poland in St Gallen.

Four days later they travel to Basel to face Denmark and then round off the group phase in Zurich against Sweden on July 12th.

Wuck will be entering his first tournament as head coach having taken over in August following the aftermath of a disappointing 2023 FIFA World Cup campaign in Australia where Martina Voss-Tecklenburg’s hotly-favoured outfit failed to progress from their group.

After winning eight of nine European championships between 1989 and 2013 Germany haven’t won a major title since the 2016 Olympic Games.

But they narrowly lost the Euro 2022 final to hosts England in extra time and have beaten the Netherlands 4-0 and Austria 6-0 in their last two UEFA Nations League matches.
