North Carolina experiences burning sensation after lightning strikes near her home
On July 1st, X user Kathy Woodin recorded a powerful storm and lightning near her home in High Point.
She stepped outside onto her front porch to capture the lightning but quickly went back inside, saying the strike was “a little too close for comfort.”
Shortly afterward, she felt a burning and tingling sensation in her feet.
“I sat down and my feet were hot and tingling,” she said. “I’m pretty sure I caught a charge from that because my feet burned, tingled, and went numb for several hours afterward.”
Her video shows the intense power of the storm that left her with lasting sensations.
