VARIOUS OF SMOKE RISING FROM FOREST AREA OF LATAKIA, SEEN FROM YAYLADAGI DISTRICT OF HATAY HATAY, TÜRKİYE - JULY 4: A forest fire broke out in multiple villages in the Bayirbucak region of Syria's Latakia province on Friday (July 4). The forest fire broke out in the several villages in the region during the morning hours, said civil defense (White Helmets) officials. It was reported that the rugged nature of the region, the lack of clear lanes and fire warning signs on forest roads, the remoteness of water sources, as well as war debris and mines, made the firefighting difficult. Firefighting teams from different provinces were dispatched to the region, according to officials.
