This is the horrifying moment a baby had a near miss when an electric fan fell onto his face.

The six-month-old infant was in a stroller when the switched-on stand fan suddenly toppled over in Zambales, the Philippines.

CCTV footage shows the child crying for help as the blades of the appliance continued to spin.

Alarmed by the noise, his mother, Dee, rushed into the room and immediately picked up the wailing baby.

The frantic solo parent can be seen cradling her son before noticing blood on his hand, prompting her to burst into tears as she scrambled to find a clean cloth.

She can be heard apologising to her son repeatedly.

Dee said: 'I'm sharing this for awareness. Mothers also need time to rest and take care of their mental health. We should stop blaming moms for every accident, so it doesn't damage their well-being.'
