This is the hilarious moment a group of tourists were flung into the sea while riding an inflatable pulled by a speeding boat.

Footage shows the beachgoers seated on a yellow, UFO-shaped rubber raft tied to the back of a vessel in Aklan, the Philippines.

The ride started smoothly, but as the boat accelerated and the waves grew choppier, the inflatable began to wobble.

Moments later, the group was sent flying as the raft flipped over, dumping them into the water.

Tourist Mark Lister Usaraga said: 'We were five friends with one unforgettable UFO ride in Boracay.

'What started as a fun water activity turned into nonstop laughter, especially on the last spin when two of us went flying like birds. It was such a hilarious and memorable experience.'

They floated on the surface wearing life vests before being helped back onto the inflatable to continue the thrilling ride on July 5.
