Los Angeles, United States - July 12, 2025 07/12/2025 12:00 am GMT-0700 DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A group of approximately 100 protesters gathered outside the Federal Building at the intersection of Commercial and Alameda streets. The demonstration was predominantly peaceful, with participants carrying Mexican flags and upside-down American flags. Chants of "No Kids In Cages" echoed through the crowd. Federal police officers and members of the United States Marines were stationed to guard the entrance to the federal building. Throughout the night, protesters reported witnessing vans entering the building with teens in shackles. At one point, two vehicles left the federal building, prompting police to form a barrier around them to prevent protesters from approaching.
