What began as a clear and calm journey turned into a scene straight out of a disaster film when Abdul Mueed Sufyan and his friends were travelling from Lahore to Gujranwala via the motorway. Without warning, a massive sandstorm swept across the Lahore-Sheikhupura stretch, reducing visibility to near zero and forcing vehicles to a halt.

The group captured the moment on video, showing the eerie transition from daylight to a dust-filled haze. The footage, posted on Instagram, quickly went viral, racking up over a million views.

We were travelling from Lahore to Gujranwala through motorway and the weather was pretty clean then suddenly we saw a big Sand Storm coming towards us, we couldn’t see a thing when it hit us
