Palestine supporters held a protest in Sydney over the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Footage captured by Masood Shafqat shows thousands of demonstrators waving Palestinian flags as they marched across the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the rain.

Masood Shafqat said: 'History has been made, more than 100,000 protesters walked across the Sydney Harbour Bridge to raise their voices for a Free Palestine.'

Local media reported that more than 100,000 activists marched across Sydney's Harbour Bridge and Melbourne's King Street Bridge on Sunday, August 3.

Palestinian health officials report that at least 175 people, including 93 children, have died from hunger in Gaza since the war began.

Israel has blitzed the Gaza Strip in retaliation for a terror attack by the governing party Hamas on a Jewish music festival on October 7, 2023.

However, the situation, which Israel claims is self-defence, has attracted criticism from around the world.
