US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield 2 Mobile Homes Catch Fire Dogs Evacuated

Bakersfield, United States - August 08, 2025 08/08/2025 01:52 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif.– Flames tore through one mobile home, damaging another early Friday morning. Kern County Fire Department crews were dispatched at 1:53 a.m. to reports of smoke coming from a mobile home near the 6000 block of State Road. Firefighters arrived to find the structure engulfed in heavy flames and thick smoke, which spread to a neighboring trailer. Occupants of the second trailer rescued three dogs from the home as it began to burn. No injuries have been confirmed. The cause remains under investigation. Multiple arson units were called to the scene. Hall Ambulance also responded.
