Heartwarming moment boy meets man who received his late father’s heart
This is the touching moment a young boy plays with the man who received his late dad's heart.
Vincent Stiltner, three, has formed a special bond with Dom Wilson, 37.
Dom received Vincent's dad Christopher Stiltner's heart after his death in a car accident in March 2022.
Vincent's mother, Candra Stiltner, 27, became friends with Dom and noticed that Vincent started enjoying playing with him.
Although Vincent has no idea that Dom has his father's heart, the wholesome video of them playing together shows how comfortable they are together.
Candra, from Saltville, Virginia, said: "It made my heart heal a little bit seeing Dom and my son run around the park together and create that bond."
"Vincent is so connected to him. I feel like he has known him forever."
Christopher decided to be an organ donor before his accident, so Candra very much felt she was honouring his wishes.
Whilst Candra's older daughters know and understand that Dom has Christopher's heart, Vincent is still too young to comprehend the connection.
Candra said: "Christopher was an organ donor before he passed we all agreed he loved to help others and this was his last chance at giving."
"My girls understand about him having their dad's heart, Vincent doesn't know much yet."
"And I think because of that their relationship is even more amazing. It means so much to all of us."
