GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - AUG. 18: Humanitarian aid airdrops continued in the Gaza Strip under Israeli attacks and blockade on Monday, August 18. Military cargo planes dropped aid supplies, which drew Palestinians to gather west of Nuseirat Refugee Camp in central Gaza.

Many residents waited for hours under the scorching sun, and some managed to collect the parachuted supplies.

Husam Faracallah, a Palestinian child who received bottled water, said the airdrops humiliate people. “We are not thirsty, we are hungry. Do not misunderstand the events. Open the border crossings. What are you doing this way? You are not reforming, you are destroying more. Fear God. How will you answer to God on the Day of Judgment?” he said.

Israel has killed more than 61,900 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave and brought it to the verge of famine.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
