An immigrant DoorDash worker confessed he "doesn't feel accepted" in the USA because American's "don't like to talk to us"."

Cameron Mayes, 24, recorded the worker as he dropped off food, at his home in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

In the clip which has gone viral, the worker admits he feels "stuck" in the USA, due to the way he is treated by strangers."

Immigration tensions have intensified since President Trump's re-election in November 2024.

Cameron, who is self-employed, asked the worker, who is from India: "Do you like it here?"

The delivery man relied: "I want to go back, sir."

"They don't accept us here."

"They don't like to talk to us, but we are former immigrants. "

"I'm going to be a citizen, but my heart is sad."

Cameron then went on to ask if he wants to leave, to which he replied: "I have two daughters who are not going back - I'm stuck here."

"My wife also wants to stay here, so I have to, unfortunately."

Cameron added: "I'm going to pray for you, brother."

"Pray that God will make my heart happy and everyone like you, smiling and welcoming"

When asked about the video now, Cameron said: "He's my regular DoorDash delivery driver and I just started talking to him."

"Something made me start recording, and he started pouring his heart out to me"

"I haven't hit me yet- it's my first ever viral video."

"I hope I see the gentleman again - he seemed like a great guy."

The video has amassed over 60K views on TikTok and was filmed on July 31.
