I was on my way to the animal shelter to adopt a cat when I saw heavy black smoke coming from the woods.
I stopped and discovered this vehicle on fire about a hundred meters from the road.
I first called the fire department, fearing that someone might have been in the car and that the fire might spread to the trees. After the blaze began to die down and the heat was less intense enough to approach, I grabbed my camera to take some pictures and this video of the moment.
Ultimately, the police reported that another vehicle had been found a few kilometers away, burned in a similar manner. They believed these vehicles had been stolen for the purpose of committing robberies and set on fire to erase all traces of identification.
