This is the amusing moment pupils played the 'Pop the Balloon' game during a school sports day in Thailand.

Footage captured by Baiphai Nanthawan shows a boy with a pink balloon attached to his waist, sitting on a chair to let his teammate burst it in Maha Sarakham on August 15.

Instead of sitting backward on the chair, he positioned himself normally.

In a split second, his classmate leapt forward, pressing their face against the balloon.

The inflatable burst instantly, sending the crowd into laughter and applause.

Thrilled by the playful moment, his teammate ran across the field with his hands raised in excitement.

The Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences of The National Sports University organised the traditional play activity for the school event.
