PROTESTERS CHANTING SLOGANS (TWO SHOTS)ATHENS, GREECE - AUG. 29, 2025: Healthcare workers in Greece gathered in front of the Israeli Embassy in the capital, Athens, on Friday, Aug. 29, to hold a demonstration in support of the people of Gaza. Protesting the ongoing attacks in Gaza, the healthcare workers called for an immediate end to the humanitarian crisis. Israel has killed over 63,000 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
