VARIOUS OF PALESTINIANS SETTING UP TENTS GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - SEPTEMBER 01: Palestinians continued to flee northern Gaza on Monday, September 01, as Israeli military strikes intensified across the area, forcing families to move toward central and southern parts of the enclave. Residents carried belongings they could take with them and advanced by vehicle or on foot along Al-Rashid Street toward Gaza’s central region. Israel has killed nearly 63,500 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
