Storyline: The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip had risen to 64,300, with 162,005 others injured since the latest round of the conflict between Hamas and Israel erupted on Oct 7, 2023, Gaza's health authorities said in a statement on Friday. Over the past 24 hours, Israeli attacks killed 69 people in Gaza and injured 422 others, the statement said. Since Israel ended a two-month ceasefire with Hamas and resumed attacks on Gaza on March 18 of this year, 11,768 Palestinians have been killed and 49,964 others wounded, the statement said.
