God willing, may Allah grant us health and well-being so that we can raise him like his father and uncles.” GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - SEP. 5: A newborn baby has become orphaned due to the Israel’s genocidal attacks, that killed his nine-month pregnant mother and father in an airstrike on their tent in the Gaza Strip. Hamza Al-Rubai, was surgically removed from his deceased mother's womb, that he was the sole survivor of the airstrike on the tent near Shifa Hospital on Thursday. Hamza's family was attacked in their home a year ago where the mother (Deyana) and father (Omar al-Rubai) survived, but their three children, aged five, eight and 10, were killed. The family then began living in a tent where a year later, the couple was killed. Hamza, who was successfully delivered from his mother's womb via surgery and left without a family, has been receiving treatment at El-Helou Hospital. Hamza’s grieving grandmother Mudellele Al-Rubai asked “What did this child's wrong? Why was he left without a mother and father? He came into this world but never saw his mother or father. His father is gone, his mother is gone, his three siblings are gone. Hamza is also an orphan.” According to Al-Rubai Hamza's aunts will take care of him even as they grow older. The Israeli genocide in Gaza entered day 700 on Friday, with Israel having killed at least 64,300 Palestinians. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
