VARIOUS OF PEOPLE MARCHING ON STREET, CHANTING SLOGANS AND WAVING FLAGS AND BANNERSSTOCKHOLM, SWEDEN - SEP. 6, 2025: Hundreds of people rallied in central Stockholm on Saturday, Sep. 6, to protest against Israel’s actions in Gaza and to urge the Swedish government to take a stronger stance. Demonstrators, mobilized by civil society groups, gathered at Odenplan Square carrying signs reading “Stop the food shortages,” “Children are being killed in Gaza,” and “Schools and hospitals are being bombed.” Chanting slogans such as “Freedom for Palestine” and “Stop Israel’s occupation plan,” protesters marched to the Foreign Ministry, accusing the government of remaining silent over Israel’s offensive in Gaza. The Israeli army has continued a brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip, killing at least 64,300 Palestinians since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
