Los Angeles, United States - September 19, 2025 09/19/2025 01:40 am GMT-0700 LA PUENTE, Calif. – A motorcycle suspect led police on a slow-speed pursuit through multiple cities Friday morning, causing a scene in a residential neighborhood in La Puente. El Monte Police Department, along with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department aircraft, monitored the chase as the motorcycle emitted thick smoke. The suspect rode the motorcycle on sidewalks, posing a danger to residents. The pursuit ended when the suspect crashed into a fence on the 14400 block of Homeward Street. Authorities took the individual into custody. The circumstances surrounding the suspect's pursuit by the El Monte Police remain unclear. Los Angeles County Fire Department crews responded to the scene to extinguish a small fire that ignited from the motorcycle.
